Speech and Language Pathologist

Cory Atkinson, BM, MA, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist in the Northwestern University Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Ms. Atkinson completed her undergraduate studies in vocal performance at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and received her Master's degree in speech pathology at Northwestern University. Her clinical practice specialty is voice disorders, including work with voice and speech in patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment and currently participates in several research projects associated with speech and swallowing in Parkinson's' disease patients.
