Integrated Exercise for Parkinson's

This is a group exercise class that specifically designed to benefit individuals with Parkinson’s disease. This is a lower intensity aerobics class that integrates flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training. All exercises are done seated and are aimed at improving functional abilities. The exercises performed in the class can reduce the progression of Parkinson's and help manage the symptoms. All levels of physical ability and fitness are welcome!

Deerfield Location:
When: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

When: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am-12:00pm

Amplitude Based Training

PD Amplitude-Based Training is an advanced level group exercise class that incorporates the latest approach to exercise for early staged individuals with PD. This class will utilize high-intensity, multi-directional and repetitive movements to increase endurance, balance and functionality of everyday movements. There will also be an education component to help participants learn about the effects of PD and strategies to improve function.
