Dave Kettley, RN
Clinical Nurse
Dave Kettley is a Registered Nurse. He joined the Movement Disorders Center at Northwestern in May 2007.
Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois in 1997. He earned his Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. He has a strong background in Critical Care and is experienced with Neurosurgical and Traumatic Brain Injury patients. He has also worked in neuro-muscular rehabilitation with Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis patients.
Dave has a background in healthcare education, working with nursing students as well as physicians and their staffs. He has most recently worked with neurologists in the midwest in sharing new treatment options for Parkinson’s patients. He views Parkinson’s disease as a “move it or lose it” disease, and encourages patients and their families to be more active in their daily lives to help cope with the challenges their disease brings.
Dave is a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society and the Infusion Nurses Society.
