Christina Marciniak, MD
Dr. Marciniak, physiatrist, is an attending physician with the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Rehabilitation Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. She evaluates movement disorders patients, and, along with the other members of the rehabilitation team, works in collaboration with Northwestern Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center to help ensure continuity of comprehensive care for people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Dr. Marciniak earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and subsequently completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University. She is Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Medical Director for Inpatient Services at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Marciniak is Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. Her research interests are in the medical issues of rehabilitation patients, Parkinson’s disease, and aging with disabilities.
