Elizabeth Stegemöller, MT-BC

Elizabeth Stegemöller is a board certified music therapist. She received her BS in Biological Sciences and BA in Music Therapy from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience from Northwestern University.

Ms. Stegemöller has also completed training in Neurological Music Therapy. She specializes in working with adults and children with movement disorders, as well as continuing research in the effects of auditory cues on movement in people with Parkinson’s disease. At Northwestern’s Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center, Elizabeth leads a chorus of people with Parkinson’s, and integrates music with the Center’s exercise classes.
