Support Groups
All support groups and classes are open to patients, caregivers and their families. For more information, please call Diane Breslow, MSW, LCSW at 312-503-4397. Support groups offer people the opportunity to:
- Share experiences
- Learn about all aspects of their condition
- Meet new people
- Receive support and understanding
The Center's Support Groups are provided free of charge, and always include refreshments. The format of the group includes presentations by guest speakers, as well as open-ended discussions and sharing. Visitors and guests are always welcome.

Parkinson Association of Illinois – PAIL
PAIL is the Illinois chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc. (NPF). PAIL was established in 2006 by a group of concerned and compassionate individuals: people who have been living with Parkinson disease for many years, newly-diagnosed patients, young onset patients, friends and family members of people with Parkinson, and professionals in the medical community.
PAIL's Mission
The Parkinson Association of Illinois (PAIL) is a not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Parkinson disease. Pail’s efforts are dedicated to providing support and education to patients and their families, promoting awareness of Parkinson disease in the community, and raising funds for research.
